New African Liberation Media interview – Ayiti in the context of Dr. Clarke “All history is a current event” (Originally published January 21, 2019 at https://bit.ly/2RUufLV and Jan 21, 2019, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-MpQk-n0Uo )

Èzili Dantò Note: A small note on history regarding this ÈziliJan 20 interview: Cacique Caonabo, strong Ayiti warrior, brother to Queen Anacaona, is the one who destroyed the colony of men left by Columbus, NOT Guacanargaric who had, in fact, welcomed them. Columbus suffered a shipwreck (the ship Santa Maria) near Mole St Nicholas in the Bay of Caracol. He and his sailors were rescued and welcomed in the territory ruled by Guacanagaric, the Marien province, on Dec. 6, 1492. Back then, Ayiti was divided by five provinces ruled by five different Caciques, nobles or chiefs. Columbus’ journey marked the beginning of centuries of trans-Atlantic slavery, conquest and colonization. Again, just note that Fort Navidad in the North of Haiti, the first place in the “New World” that Columbus established a colony, was destroyed by the great warrior-Chief Caonabo not Guacanargaric.
