Haitian writer has been awarded the Prix Ivoire for African Literature in French for her novel Je suis vivant, published in April 2015 by Mercure de France press. The award ceremony took place on Saturday November 21 at the Palais de Culture in Abidjan.

An initiative of the Ivorian Association for Akwaba Culture, with the support of the Ivorian Minister of Culture and Francophonie and the French Embassy in Cote d”ivoire, it is the most important literary prize awarded by the nation.
