NLS shares its call for 2016 residency applications, now open to both artists and researchers/writers. The deadline for applications to the Summer Art Residency is February 12, 2016 and the deadline for the Art Writing & Research Program is March 11, 2016.
The visual art residency is a nine-week program that will pair an international artist with a local artist. Artists will submit independent proposals and be paired based on a short listing and interview process. The 2016 Summer Residency is open to artists working in any medium or discipline. The Art Writing & Research Residency Program is a six-week residency open to art writers, art historians, and art curators.
