Special guests are Èzili Dantò, human rights lawyer, performance poet and Haiti scholar and Tariq Nasheed, producer of the hit documentary film “1804: The Hidden History of Haiti” which has received worldwide acclaim. Èzili Dantò and Tariq Nasheed discuss with Roc Newman how Haiti beat three European enslaving powers in combat to abolish slavery, direct colonialism, forced assimilation. They discuss the documentary “1804: The Hidden History of Haiti” and the historic relevance of the Haitian Revolution.
