I’m wondering why they used so many shots of the Hindu temples and gods. The video showed Hindu temples in the very beginning of the video, in the middle and at the end. Seems to me like an overkill, with no proper representation of other people’s religions.
No other historical buildings featured, or other aspects of our culture.
I think they should have showed more shots of Tobago with its blue waters.
It would have been nice to see some more diversity too. I know the main singer was dark. But a lot of the other people they featured in the video were Indians and people with lighter skin.
It would have been nice to see some school children in uniform, some more food other than curry.
We have a lot of other dishes that could be featured as well.
And then way too much wining. I don’t mind if you see people chipping down the street in costume. But the videographer zoomed in on people grinding on each other several times in the video. Which I don’t think is necessary. Some people from the island are more conservative, and even some tourists will be more conservative and that would be a major turn off.
I think that this video focused too much on the partying.
What about the many other activities you can do while visiting TnT? You can go snorkeling in the Nylon Pool. Visit the Natural Forest Reserves in Tobago. Visit the Caroni Swamps. Go on hikes through the beautiful nature. Swim in waterfalls. All of these things were not featured in this video!!
Even the site that they chose for the main singer to sing in is fairly non-descript. They should have chosen a few more iconic sites for her to perform.
Any way, these are my thoughts, it was a good effort but could have been better.

This is Patrice's year..this song especially captured Trinidad's culture like no other. Im so proud of our country. There is so much love. If people could just put down the guns and stop the killing. But that decision has to start with ourselves. We have to individually want better and return to the good ole days.

Blessing to the New Queen of Soca. The work ethic in Patrice is crazy. She have dropped so many hits just within this 2019 Carnival Season alone. She basically dropped a whole album. Any other genre of music she would be up for some type of award. She deserve the title Queen of Soca and more. New category should be made for Soca Matriarch for women . She would definitely win. She is sweet for days . Blessing Queen .

Blessing to Patrice Roberts it's time to end this title drama. I am not sure who gives out the titles but the public popularity is voting for Patrice Roberts as Queen of Soca. You cannot deny the work ethic of Patrice over the last couple years. When do one leave from being Princess to Queeen which is maturity and growth. She is a big girl now. Here's what it should be New Queen of Soca Patrice Robert's and Nailah Blackman as the Princess hands down.
